Welcome to our July news summary – an opportunity to look back on the highlights from this month regarding remote working and the impact of culture.
To start the month, we heard from one of our most established PAs, Daniella Khan. Daniella discussed how working remotely as a virtual personal assistant has transformed her work/life balance. This is perfect for anyone considering running their own virtual personal assistant business as Daniella gave some amazing insight into life as a VA. On a separate video, Daniella reveals the most unique requests she has received from one of her clients.
Throughout the month we focused our attention on our culture at SmartPA. It’s something we are very proud of and our Managing Director, Sarra Bejaoui filmed a quick video explaining the 4 areas of culture we focus on. Culture is crucial to business performance and we want to spread the word! So we wrote a blog on how culture is much more than just a buzzword, it is a performance driver – find out what impact culture has on organisations, small and large.
This month, we received some amazing feedback from both our PAs and clients. A strong handful of our SmartPA Partners are mothers, and we love that! One of our PAs commented on our ‘insourcing model’ and how this allowed her to take time off for the birth of her child. We also received some positive feedback from one of our clients! Jane Johnson left some amazing feedback, providing the perspective of a small business when receiving support from a virtual personal assistant.
The last piece in our news round up for July is one of our blogs – The ‘Ikea Effect’. We explore the future of your career and how the do-it-yourself pride influences business owners. Read all about the ‘Ikea Effect’ and what running your own admin support business can do for you.
